Can I use Peppermint Tension for chronic sinus congestion or allergies?
Avoid contact with mucous membranes. Do not use Peppermint Tension for sinus congestion or allergies. We believe that extensive use of essential oils or herbal remedies, like other remedies, may be harmful. Always consult your Doctor regarding medical needs.
Red, itchy, hot reaction to essential oils?
On rare occasion, when essential oils are applied topically, the skin may become red, itchy or hot. Applying Virgin Coconut Oil, Virgin Olive Oil or other plant based oil will provide relief. NEVER try to remove essential oils with water.
Can I use this for very sensitive skin?
If you are concerned about sensitivities we recommend that you apply a small amount on the inside of the arm first as a test. If a red area or rash appears, dilute the area with extra-virgin coconut oil or another oil. We have found diluting works well to eliminate the rash and still provide healing to the area. If the rash persists, we recommend you discontinue using the product.
Can I diffuse Riverstone Naturals Peppermint Tention Blend?
Oils travel through the nasal passage into the lungs and then to the body with their powerful antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial properties. To diffuse, place a few drops on a cotton ball in a dish close to the bed. Essential oils are aromatics that will evaporate with or without heat.
