Does the Healing Salve work for deep pain?
We have found that a combination of Peppermint Tension Blend with the Healing Salve works very well to relieve deep muscle and nerve pain. Apply the Peppermint Tension Roll-On to the skin, then apply Healing Salve and gently massage into the area. The Peppermint Tension Blend offers additional muscle relaxant, pain relief and intense healing with a blend of peppermint, lavender, and rosemary.
Can I apply Healing Salve to my scalp to heal psoriasis?
Definitely! We recommend you apply the Healing Salve at night and then wash your hair in the morning as it contains Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and can make your hair greasy.
Is Healing Salve safe for sensitive skin, babies, children and elderly?
Yes, Riverstone Naturals Healing Salve is safe for sensitive skin, babies children and elderly. If you are concerned about sensitivities we recommend that you apply a small amount on the inside of the arm first as a test. This is a good habit to adopt any time you are introducing a new product. If a red area or rash appears, we dilute the area with extra-virgin coconut oil or another oil in our home. We have found that the skin is sensitive and diluting works well to eliminate the rash and still provide healing to the area. If the rash persists, we recommend you discontinue using the product.
